The Mission: Renaissance, Pasadena, California art center proudly serves the Los Angeles communities of Pasadena, Alta Dena, South Pasadena, Glendale, Monterey Park, Hastings Ranch, and San Marino.

“I joined Mission: Renaissance to cope with the stress of my job. I work in the Financial Services industry, an industry that seems to get worse by the day. Art has become my candle in a dark room.”
Colleen - Adult Student
“The basic Mission: Renaissance drawing course covered techniques and the methods that I would never have learned elsewhere; and having a wonderful teacher guiding me through the process was invaluable. I now see things in my everyday life in a brand new way, and for once I feel I can actually draw. I am so grateful – Thank you!”
Clive - Adult Student
“When I am doing art, I forget about my problems. All my friends have sports for a passion but mine is art. When I am doing art, I feel calm and I am so happy that I have this class to help me do something and get better at it, like my friends do with their sports. I love art and always will.”
Sydney - Age 10
“I learned a lot of things in sketching, and I feel successful about all of it. Special thanks to my parents who sacrifice a lot to make this possible, and thanks to my art instructors for teaching me.”
Peter - Age 10

At Mission: Renaissance Fine Art Classes we strive to provide the best art classes for children, teenagers and adults.

Our adult art classes and art classes for teenagers follow a structured program based on The Gluck Method – L.A.’s premier art instruction program. This structure enables each student to learn how to draw and paint with complete certainty and control.

Students gain tremendous knowledge and artistic skill while progressing at their own rate of speed.  With a highly trained art instructor at their side, helping to coach them step-by-step through the program, anyone can go from beginner to master artist using The Gluck Method.

Our art classes for kids are held most afternoons and on Saturdays with art lessons in how to draw and how to paint in watercolor and oil paints.  Each of our art instructors are highly trained and certified in The Gluck Method of Fine Art Instruction – L.A.’s Best Fine Art Program.

If you, or your child has ever wanted to learn to draw or learn to paint, we are here to help make that a reality. With classes in beginning drawing, oil painting, pastel and watercolor, Mission: Renaissance has long been considered “L.A.’s Best Art School.”
